Who they were
In Persia, Saint Pusicius, martyr, who, the head of King Shapur II's craftsmen, for having encouraged the priest Ananias when he was on the point of denying the faith, was pierced through the neck on Holy Saturday, thus gaining a considerable place in the company of the martyrs put to death after Saint Simeon.
The miracles
There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
Why that counted as sanctity
The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 18 April as the head of King Shapur II's craftsmen, pierced through the neck on Holy Saturday for encouraging the priest Ananias to hold to the faith.
