Rafael Calatrava Ros was born on 19 January 1892 at Almería, and was a layman, a lawyer and a night adorer.
He was killed at Pozo de Cantavieja on 25 September 1936, and was beatified on 25 March 2017 by Pope Francis, among the companions of José Álvarez-Benavides de la Torre.
