Who they were
In the same place, Blessed Rafael Pardo Molina, religious of the Order of Preachers and martyr, who died during the persecution against the faith. Together with him is also commemorated the Blessed martyr Joseph Mary Vidal Segú, priest of the same Order, who for his untiring witness of faith in Christ was received into glory at Barcelona.

Why that counted as sanctity
The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 26 September as a Dominican religious martyred at Valencia during the persecution.
