Who they were
Ramiro Argüelles Hevia was born in 1871 at Mieres in Asturias, in the archdiocese of Oviedo, and was ordained priest in 1896.
He was killed at Pozo de Cantavieja on 13 September 1936, and was beatified on 25 March 2017 by Pope Francis, among the companions of José Álvarez-Benavides de la Torre.
