Who they were
The decree on martyrdom records that he was born at Aiguafreda on 7 March 1891, made his religious profession in 1908 and was ordained priest in 1915, and worked with ardour at the education of the young. He was killed at El Morrot near Barcelona on 21 August 1936 and beatified on 11 March 2001 by Pope John Paul II.
