Who they were
At Aceh on the island of Sumatra, the blessed martyrs Denis of the Nativity (Pierre) Berthelot, priest, and Redemptus of the Cross (Thomas) RodrÃguez, religious of the Order of Discalced Carmelites, who were first reduced to slavery by the Muslims and finally killed on the seashore with arrows and axe blows.
