Who they were
Regina Protmann was born at Braniewo in 1552 and gave herself wholeheartedly to the renewal of the Church after the Council of Trent.
Moved by love for the poor, she did much to serve those in need, in humble works of mercy, and founded the Congregation of the Sisters of St Catherine.
