Who they were
At Sázava in Bohemia, Saint Procopius, who, having left his wife and son, devoted himself to the eremitical life, then governed the monastery he himself founded in this place and celebrated the divine praises according to the Greek rite and in the Slavonic language.

There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.

The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 25 March as a hermit who founded and governed the monastery of Sázava, celebrating the divine praises in the Greek rite and Slavonic language.
