Salvador of Horta

Who they were
Salvador Grionesos was born at Santa Coloma de Farners, Catalonia, in December 1520 and was orphaned early. After a trial at the Benedictine abbey of Montserrat, he chose poverty and entered the Franciscan friary of Barcelona, professing in 1542.
At Tortosa he became known as a wonder-worker. At Cagliari he made himself a humble instrument of Christ for the salvation of bodies and souls. He died on 18 March 1567.
