Who they were

At Córdoba in Andalusia in Spain, Blessed Sancho, martyr, who as a youth, brought as a prisoner from the town of Albi and educated at the king's court, did not hesitate during the persecution of the Moors to suffer martyrdom for faith in Christ.

The miracles

There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.

Why that counted as sanctity

The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 5 June as a young captive from Albi, raised at the court of Córdoba, martyred for Christ under the Moors.
