Who they were
At Seoul in Korea, the passion of Saints Sebastian Nam I-gwan and nine companions, martyrs, who were beheaded for the Christian faith after cruel tortures; also commemorated with them are the holy martyrs Lucy Kim, Catherine Yi, widow, and her daughter Magdalene Cho, virgin, who, having been put in prison for Christ, died on an unknown day of this month from the torments they had suffered.
