A former cotton-mill worker from Fiume Veneto, she entered the Venice community in 1894 and was left immobile by Pott's disease for most of her religious life.

Her cause was opened at Venice in 1986 by the Franciscan Sisters of Christ the King, and the decree on her heroic virtues was promulgated on 22 June 2004, making her Venerable.
