Who they were
Felice Rapagnano was born at Montegranaro in the Marche in 1540 to a poor farming family and for a time kept flocks. At eighteen he was received as a lay brother by the Capuchins.
Truly poor, he shone in humility and piety, and would bless the sick, asking for their healing in body and spirit. He died with a reputation for holiness on 12 October 1604.
