Who they were
At Bordeaux in Aquitaine, now in France, Saint Severino, bishop, who, having come from the East, was received with honour by the bishop Saint Amandus, who wanted him as his successor.
The miracles
There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
Why that counted as sanctity
The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 21 October as a bishop of Bordeaux who came from the East and succeeded Saint Amandus.
