Who they were
Tronci was a volleyball player and the first laywoman to study at the theological faculty of Cagliari, a founder at seventeen of the charismatic community in her parish which became the Comunità Primavera; she was diagnosed with lung cancer in 1983 and died on Holy Wednesday 1984 aged 23.

The archdiocese of Cagliari opened the diocesan inquiry in 2003 and closed it on 16 July 2016, and the Positio has since been delivered to the Dicastery for the Causes of Saints.
