Who they were
At Brioude near Clermont-Ferrand in the region of Aquitaine, in France, Saint Julian, martyr, who, having come to this territory at the invitation of Saint Ferreolus during the persecution, is said by tradition to have obtained the palm of martyrdom there.

There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
