Young Conventual Franciscan (Minorite) novice killed in hatred of the faith
Who they were
A convert from Calvinism and a novice of only six months at the Minorite house in Rad, he was seized near Maly Hores on 6 November 1639 by two men from his home village, tied to a tree and killed when he refused to renounce his faith.

No miracle has been approved. The cause is at its first stage.
Why that counted as sanctity
The Minorites petitioned the Archdiocese of Kosice in February 2024, the Slovak bishops approved the opening of the cause in March 2024, and the Dicastery for the Causes of Saints granted the nihil obstat on 20 December 2024, so he is titled Servant of God.
