Who they were
Born Stjepan Milanović in Sarajevo, he took the name Lovro on entering the Franciscans and was parish priest of Tramošnica when he was shot dead at Turić on 3 February 1807.

Why that counted as sanctity
The diocesan process for the recognition of his martyrdom in odium fidei was opened on 31 January 2015 in Sarajevo at the Vrhbosna archdiocesan offices, presided over by Cardinal Vinko Puljić at the petition of the Franciscan Province of Bosna Srebrena, whereupon he received the title sluga Božji (Servant of God).
