Who they were
A professed sister of the Congregation of the Sisters Servants of Mary Immaculate, in religion Tarcisia and in the world Olga Mackiv. The Roman Martyrology records that in time of war she defended the faith before her persecutors and won the double victory of virginity and martyrdom in the village of Krystonopil in Ukraine; the Acta Apostolicae Sedis record that she was twenty-five years old and was killed by a soldier on 18 July 1944.
