Scalabrinian missionary among migrants in Europe and northern Argentina
Who they were
A Scalabrinian from 1946, he worked with migrants in Switzerland, Germany and Italy before being sent in 1974 to northern Argentina, where he worked among Bolivian seasonal labourers and preached retreats to priests and bishops; he died of a heart attack at Alto Calilegua in Jujuy. Santiebeati gives his death as 3 October 1983, where the Hagiography Circle has 6 October.
