Who they were
At Damascus in Syria, the holy martyrs Paul and Tatta, a married couple, and Sabinian, Maximus, Rufus and Eugene, their sons, who, accused of being Christians, were beaten and tortured with other torments, and at last gave up their souls to God.

There was never a formal cause: she has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
