Tekla Nagaishi

Who they were
Thecla Nagaishi, a member of the Confraternity of the Rosary, was put to death with her husband, the catechist Blessed Paul Nagaishi, and their young son Peter on the hill at Nagasaki on 10 September 1622, among the fifty-two martyrs who died there before a great crowd.
She is one of the 205 martyrs killed in Japan for the Catholic faith between 1617 and 1632 whom Pius IX declared Blessed on 7 July 1867.
