Ukrainian Greek Catholic priest who died in a Soviet prison
Who they were
Ordained in 1920, he refused to join the Russian Orthodox Church after the 1946 Lviv pseudo-council, ministered underground, was arrested by the NKVD in 1950 and died in Zdolbuniv prison on 28 July 1952.

By decree of Bishop Taras Senkiv, the Eparchy of Stryi began the eparchial-informative phase of the beatification process of the Servant of God Fr Teodor Malko in 2025, the first session being held in the eparchial chancery.
