Who they were

The decree on martyrdom describes him as a brother of the Order of Preachers, born in 1912, who broke off his studies for the priesthood because of poor health and made his vows as a lay brother, and records that he was killed on 13 September 1936. He was beatified on 28 October 2007 by Pope Benedict XVI.

As a martyr he was raised to the altars without a miracle.
