Who they were
Born at Varazze in 1831, she opened the first house of her community at Albisola Marina in 1854 with her sister Maria and died there in 1880. The Hagiography Circle dates the opening to 25 October 2006; santiebeati.it gives 21 June 2006 and is followed here.

Why that counted as sanctity
Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone introduced her cause at Genoa on 21 June 2006 and the Congregation for the Causes of Saints granted the nulla osta on 4 September 2007.
