Teresa Chen Jinjie

Who they were
Near the village of Huangeryin close to Ningjinxian in the province of Hebei in China, the holy sisters Teresa Chen Jinjie and Rose Chen Aixie, virgins and martyrs, who, during the persecution unleashed by the Boxers, to preserve the honour of their virginity and their Christian faith bravely resisted the depravity and barbarous cruelty of the persecutors and were run through by them with lances.
The miracles
The Roman Martyrology does not describe the miracles approved in the cause.
Why that counted as sanctity
The Roman Martyrology remembers her on 5 July as a virgin and martyr speared to death with her sister in the Boxer persecution.
