Timolaus of Caesarea

Who they were

At Caesarea in Palestine, the holy martyrs Timolaus, Dionysius, Pausides, Romulus, Alexander and another Alexander, who, during the persecution of the emperor Diocletian, were brought with their hands bound before the prefect Urban and confessed that they were Christians; a few days later, together with their companions Agapius and another Dionysius, they merited the crown of eternal life by beheading.

The miracles

There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.

Why that counted as sanctity

The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 24 March as a martyr beheaded at Caesarea in Palestine under Diocletian for confessing that he was a Christian.
