Who they were
Timoteo Valero Pérez was a priest of the Third Order Capuchin of the Sorrowful Virgin, born in the town of Villarejo de Temente in the province of Teruel in 1901; the decree calls him cheerful and merry by nature, and he was martyred at Madrid on 17 September 1936.
He was beatified on 11 March 2001 by John Paul II, among Vicente Cabanes Badenas and his eighteen companions of the Third Order Capuchin of the Sorrowful Virgin and the laywoman María del Carmen García Moyon.

The Roman Martyrology records that at Madrid he faced the glorious trial for Christ in the same persecution.
