Who they were
Timoteu de Palafrugell was born at Palafrugell in the province of Girona on 24 March 1897, made his solemn profession on 17 September 1916 and was ordained priest on 20 December 1919. Recognised as a religious and imprisoned, he was killed on 31 October 1936.
He was beatified on 21 November 2015 by Pope Francis, among the twenty-six Capuchin martyrs of Barcelona.
