Who they were

The decree on martyrdom records that he was born at Alfaro on 26 January 1877, was ordained priest in 1911 and made his religious profession in 1929, and gave himself to teaching Latin and to preaching, being also a highly regarded writer. He was killed at Calanda on 29 July 1936 and beatified on 11 March 2001 by Pope John Paul II.

As a martyr he was raised to the altars without a miracle.
