The Roman Martyrology for 11 February places him at Vinaroz in Spain, a religious of the Hospitaller Order of Saint John of God and a martyr who completed his combat during the persecution waged in hatred of the faith.
Acta Apostolicae Sedis 85 (1993) names him as ‘Tobias Franciscus Borras Romeu’ among the martyrs of his order, and John Paul II declared Braulio Corres and his companions of the Hospitaller Order blessed on 25 October 1992.
