Tomás Cordero Cordero

Who they were

Tomás Cordero Cordero was born at Robledino de la Valduerna, in the province of Leon, on 18 June 1910 according to the decree (the Dicastery's list of the Spanish martyrs gives 8 June 1910), and made his religious profession as a Claretian on 15 August 1929. He was one of the group of fourteen students of theology shot at Fernancaballero on 28 July 1936, and he was beatified on 13 October 2013 by Pope Francis.
