Who they were
Tomás Fernández Valenzuela was a priest, born on 27 July 1908 and ordained on 21 May 1932, who was assistant parish priest of Beas de Segura and was killed near the Atocha railway station in Madrid on 12 August 1936. He was beatified on 13 December 2025 by Pope Leo XIV among the 124 martyrs of Jaén.
