Who they were
Tomás María Planas Aguilera, born at Barcelona on 17 April 1909, made his religious profession in the Congregation of the Missionary Sons of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (the Claretians) on 15 August 1926 and was ordained a priest on 26 May 1934.
He was killed at Sabadell on 27 August 1936, and Pope Francis beatified him with his companions on 21 October 2017.
