Who they were
From a Jewish family that became Catholic, he entered the Jesuit novitiate at Ružomberok in 1943 and died with his father František on the death march from Berlin-Lichtenrade. The Jesuits date the death to 20 April 1945, where the Hagiography Circle records 21 or 22 April at Neuruppin.

Why that counted as sanctity
The Slovak Jesuits state that both father and son are candidates for beatification; the cause for martyrdom was opened in Bratislava in 2011.
