Who they were
Tommaso Maria Fusco was born at Pagani on 1 December 1831, the son of a pharmacist; orphaned young, he was taught by his uncle. He was ordained on 22 December 1855.
He cared with special love for the poor and sick, and founded the Daughters of Charity of the Most Precious Blood for social work, above all among the young and the sick.
