Who they were

Trinidad de Andrés Lanas, in the world Primus, was a member of the Madrid community of the Hospitaller Order of St John of God; he was born at Maeztu in Alava, Spain, on 7 February 1877 and bound himself by perpetual vows on 30 May 1920. He was killed at Madrid on 5 February 1937 and buried in the eastern cemetery, near the great church of Our Lady of the Almudena, patron of the city, and he was beatified on 13 October 2013 by Pope Francis.
