Who they were

The decree on martyrdom describes him as a priest of the Order of Preachers, born in 1863, a master of theology who was twice named prior provincial of Spain; the decree adds that it is uncertain whether he was killed on 22 or on 25 August. He was beatified on 28 October 2007 by Pope Benedict XVI.
