Who they were
Victor was Bishop of Capua for thirteen years until April 554. He was a man of wide learning; the Codex Fuldensis, one of the oldest manuscripts of the Vulgate, was prepared and corrected under his direction.
The Roman Martyrology commemorates him as 'distinguished for learning and holiness'.

There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
