American Holy Cross missionary and first bishop of Fort Portal
Who they were
Priest of the Congregation of Holy Cross who founded the Holy Cross mission to East Africa and became the first bishop of Fort Portal in Uganda, later secretary general of the association of East African bishops' conferences. The Hagiography Circle gives his death as 1 November 1982 at Rochester, Minnesota.
