Why that counted as sanctity
As parish priest of Anoia Superiore in Reggio Calabria he formed the group of young women that became the Missionary Sisters of Evangelisation, who name him as their founder and Servant of God. He died in Oaxaca, Mexico, in 1984; his cause opened on 15 December 2014.
