Who they were

The decree on martyrdom describes him as a priest of the Order of Preachers, born in 1891, who worked among working people and wrote books on the arts and on sacred preaching, and records that he was killed on 18 November 1936. He was beatified on 28 October 2007 by Pope Benedict XVI.
