Who they were

Cordisco was rector of the seminary of Trivento and then parish priest in his native Montefalcone nel Sannio, where in 1948 he began the association that became the Franciscan Sisters of Charity. His birth date is uncertain: Santi e Beati gives both 5 November 1908 and 7 May 1908 on the same page, while the Hagiography Circle gives 8 May 1896, so no date is recorded here.

The miracles

No miracle has been approved. The cause is at its first stage.

Why that counted as sanctity

The diocesan inquiry into his cause began in 2014.

The cause

The cause continues. No postulation address is published here yet. Favours received through this person’s intercession, and offers of help, are best sent to the religious order or congregation they belonged to, or to the diocese where the cause was opened; either will pass them to the postulation.

A miracle approved by the Holy See is needed for the next step. If you know the postulation’s own page, tell us and it will be added here.
