Who they were
Wulfram, son of a noble esteemed by King Dagobert, was ordained and wished for a secluded life, but was made Bishop of Sens about 684.
He resigned after a few years and retired to the Abbey of Fontenelle. He is said to have preached in Frisia and tried to convert King Radbod. He died on 20 March, before 704.
The miracles
There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
Why that counted as sanctity
A bishop who returned to the cloister and preached to the pagans.
