At Trnava in Slovakia, Blessed Zdenka (Cecilia) Schelingová, virgin of the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity of the Holy Cross and martyr, who, in times of great difficulty for the Church in her nation, suffered much in body and spirit for having protected a priest and, finally struck by illness, shone as a tireless and joyful witness of Christ.
