Who they were
Zefirino Agostini was born in Verona on 24 September 1813, entered the seminary as soon as he came of age and was ordained in 1837.
A parish priest devoted to preaching, catechesis and Christian formation, he cared for the young, the poor and the sick by every means, and for them founded the Ursulines, Daughters of Mary Immaculate. He died in Verona on 6 April 1896.
