Zosimo Maria Brambat

Who they were

Born in Milan, he asked to enter the abbey of Casamari as a lay brother and made his simple profession on 20 November 1795; kind and easy with everyone, he waited on the soldiers who violated the monastery on 13 May 1799 and they wounded him gravely, and he died two days later on the way to receive the last sacraments. Pope Francis beatified him with Simeone Maria Cardon and his five companions on 17 April 2021.
