Who they were
Amalberga (Amelia), related to Pepin of Landen, married Witger and was the mother of three saints, Gudula, Reineldis and Emebertus.
She and her husband finally withdrew from the world, he as a monk and she as a nun. The records of her life are very confused.

There was never a formal cause: she has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
