Andrés Avelino Gutiérrez Moral was a priest of the Congregation of the Mission, born at Salazar de Amaya near Burgos on 12 November 1886 and ordained in 1911. He was shot at El Ramal, near Villaviciosa, on 3 August 1936. Pope Francis beatified him on 13 October 2013, among the martyrs of Fortunato Velasco Tobar and thirteen companions of the Congregation of the Mission.
