Ángel María Presta Batlle was born at Olot in Girona on 14 February 1915 and professed temporary vows in 1934; he served his community as cook.
He was beatified on 28 October 2007 by Benedict XVI, among Ángel María Prat Hostench and his sixteen companions of the Order of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Mount Carmel, killed in 1936.
